2024 Sharks Travel Team Tryouts

We are excited to announce tryouts for our 2024 Sharks 8U-11U travels teams. Tryouts will be held at the Cherry Hill Atlantic Complex Majors Field (470 E Evesham Rd). All current and prospective players need to register for tryouts. Registration form can be found here. A failure to register may lead to your player not being considered for a spot on one of these teams. Please note that our 7U program will have separate tryouts closer to the spring.

Tryout schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, 11/1
- 6p-7p - 8U
- 7p-8p - 9U (A & B Teams)

Thursday, 11/2
- 6p-7p - 10U
- 7p-8p - 11U

Dates/times are all weather permitting. We will announce make-up dates if we need to cancel either tryout due to weather. If you are unable to attend your assigned tryout date/time, please let us know via the registration form.

The age determination dates for travel baseball are different than Little League. The age cutoff dates for our Sharks teams are as follows:

8U - 5/1/2015 (Oldest Birthdate)
9U - 5/1/2014
10U - 5/1/2013
11U - 5/1/2012

Some points to consider if interested in playing in the Sharks travel program;

1. Players interested in playing for the Sharks must register and participate in our spring rec/Little League program.

2. This is a more competitive level of play and not suited for everyone. There will be players that try out who may not be selected to play. Tough decisions will need to be made when putting together the roster. Please be aware that cuts can and will be necessary.

3. There will be a cost to participate on the travel teams. The cost will include uniforms, winter training, league fees, equipment, and umpire fees.

4. Participation in the travel program will not guarantee a roster spot on one of our summer Little League District or all-star teams.

5. Most importantly, we are a Little League Rec organization. While the Sharks program has the full backing of Cherry Hill Atlantic, we will always do our best to prioritize our Rec programs first.
